Somatic Therapy and Emotional Resilience Coaching

Focussing on connection, stress management and relearning the wisdom of our bodies

Helping you to reclaim space to connect to what’s important

Do you feel overwhelmed by being a human in the modern world? You are trying to navigate all of your responsibilities in a fast-paced life and wish things could just slow down so that you could spend more time in nature or with those you love?

Or maybe you just have this gnawing feeling like you don’t belong.

You spend time with friends but as much as you care about them you feel like they just don’t “get” you.

And it’s only when you get out into wild spaces that you truly feel connected back to your core… well, when you’re not worried about getting lost anyway. The sense of freedom, the opportunity to untangle the thoughts and just breathe.

But you don’t know how to feel this way when you come back into the “real world”.

Firstly I want to say, I can entirely relate. I spent a large chunk of my life feeling this way.

For me it manifested as wanting to run away to the hills and feeling profound waves of overwhelm or loneliness. I felt like I was wearing a mask I couldn’t take off and my face was tired with the weight of it. I felt like I spoke a language that others didn’t quite understand.

But it turns out that running away to the hills wasn’t the answer either. And that there was a subtle nuance between being in the mountains to escape and being with the wild to humbly learn connection.

Since then I have grown a life of deep connection. I healed my relationship to my body, grew a supportive, like-minded community of people who inspire me and who share my love and deep reverance to this planet. I live a life in gratitude.

I want to say that change is possible. It does take work. But it doesn’t mean you have to become a hermit and run away from society (though it might still be nice…).

All it takes is the belief that things can be different with the right people to support you. And it helps if you connect with someone who has already walked the path you wish to journey down.

If I resonate, I would love to connect with you.

This page will give some options on how we can work together through eco or somatic therapy or coaching to help you reclaim some space so that you can reconnect back to nature, restore yourself to your natural glory. From this space, we can work together to find people who truly get you and feel deeply seen, appreciated and supported in your relationships.

And if you can’t find what you are looking for here, book a call with me through clicking on the button below and we can chat it through over a cuppa. Maybe a spiced chai latte. Mmmmm…

Therapy/Coaching with Lauren – How does it work?

I offer sessions in person in the Bangor/Menai Bridge/Bethesda area, Gwynedd.

For those further afield, sessions are available online via video calls. For coaching, I also offer walking sessions that can be booked on a half day or full day basis.

Although I am a somatic therapist, to start with it will feel like a normal talking counselling session. This is purposeful and during this time you will also be learning tools to manage your nervous system. You will notice a change from this part of working with me alone.

When the time feels right for both of us, we can move into parts work, bilateral therapy or other somatic modalities depending on what is being called for in your situation.

If this sounds helpful, book in your free 1-2-1 call below.

I charge £60 per hour for sessions for therapy.

If you would like emotional resilience coaching for your business/workplace, these are priced differently. Please contact me for details.

Half day/full day mountain coaching experiences may require different skill sets depending on what you would like to gain and are so priced on request.
